VH1's I Love the 80's Game Retailer Distribution Deals Continued

Exclusive Retail Deals Renewed for Party Game Based on Hit VH1 Series

Boston, MA – (January 12, 2008) – Capturing America's continuing fascination with the 1980's, Intellinitiative Game Co. and Viacom's VH1 Television Network announce the renewal of an exclusive distribution deal with Borders Bookstores, making the national bookseller the exclusive brick-and-mortar outlet to nationally carry the VH1 I Love the 80's Board GameTM for Fall and Holiday 2007. Intellinitiative and Viacom also announce the renewal of online distribution deals with Target.com and Amazon.com, making the online retail giants the exclusive web outlets for the game.

The game, co-created by Intellinitiative and writers from VH1's hit series, I Love The 80's, is now available for purchase at all Borders locations as well as on Target.com and Amazon.com.

Clay Siegert, President of Intellinitiative, said, "Working with such tremendously successful leaders in the entertainment and retail industries, we are assured that all of the fond and funny pop culture memories of the 80's will be available to consumers to be enjoyed in a high quality, interactive, and social party game."

The I Love the 80's Board Game ($24.99) has arrived during a retro renaissance for the decade of "hair bands," The Brat Pack, yuppies and "Valley Girl" slang. Playing the game, opponents are challenged with singing, drawing, acting and answering trivia from five different categories: Rad TV, Dope Movies, Wicked Music, Ill Sports and For Real Dude Events.

The I Love The 80's Board Game contains 1,500 totally awesome trivia questions and challenges, including pop culture content featured on the three installments of the VH1: I Love The 80's (2002), I Love The 80's: Strikes Back (2003) and I Love The 80's: 3D (2005).

Nigel Cox-Hagan, Senior Vice President, Creative and Consumer Marketing, VH1, said, "The I Love the 80's Game is an interactive extension of this phenomenon, allowing all of those 80's lovers to indulge their fascination with the decade that continues to dazzle us all."

The game follows the hilarious spontaneity of the VH1 series by inviting players to quote classic movies, sing song lyrics, imitate TV characters, or draw the distinctive fads and fashions from the 80's – all while moving game pieces around the retro game board and trying to earn 10 "Year Tokens," one for each year, to win the game. In addition, the "Do The Robot" cards add unexpected game changing twists, such as "You win a break-dancing battle. Roll again!" or "Your acid-wash jeans go out of style. Lose your turn." The I Love the 80's Board Game is for four or more players ages 15 and up.
